Fracture Studio is an argument auditing tool for anyone who writes to persuade. This page explains what the product is, what you get back from every audit, what the engine can and cannot do, and where to go next. If you are ready to run your first audit right now, jump to the Quickstart.

What You Get Back from an Audit

Every time you run the Fracture Engine on a draft, you receive a structured report that covers:
  • An overall score — a breakdown across the parts of an argument that decide whether it survives under pressure.
  • Priority fixes — a ranked list of repairs ordered by how much each one improves your piece.
  • The collapse point — the single claim your entire argument depends on most, and what happens if it is challenged.
  • Hidden assumptions and counterarguments — the unstated ideas your argument relies on and the questions a skilled opponent would ask.
  • A source check — public web results matched against your factual claims, flagging what has support and what still needs a citation.
  • Fracture Chat — a follow-up chat interface where you can ask questions about the report, drill into any finding, or explore revision options.

How It Works at a Glance

1

Paste Your Draft

Open the Studio, drop in your writing, and choose a mode and depth level that match your goal.
2

The Fracture Engine Maps It

The engine identifies your claims, warrants, evidence, and impacts, then pressure-tests each one the way a coach, judge, or opponent would.
3

Read Your Report

Your structured report streams in as it builds. Work through priority fixes, review the source panel, and use Fracture Chat to go deeper on any finding.

What It Can and Cannot Do

Fracture Studio is a reasoning tool, not a fact oracle. Knowing its limits makes its feedback more useful.

What It Can Do

Analyze Reasoning

Map claims, warrants, evidence, and impacts, and find exactly where the logic breaks.

Surface Assumptions

Name the unstated ideas your argument depends on and rate how load-bearing each one is.

Predict Attacks

Build the strongest fair counterarguments and the questions an opponent would ask.

Check Sources

Search the public web for your factual claims and flag what still needs a citation.

Rewrite Weak Lines

Provide complete replacement sentences you can adopt, adapt, or study.

Prioritize Fixes

Rank repairs so you know exactly what to change first for the biggest improvement.

What It Cannot Do

  • It does not guarantee facts. The engine never pretends a source has been verified. It tells you what to check.
  • It does not invent evidence. It will not fabricate statistics, studies, quotations, or sources to make a rewrite sound stronger. Where evidence is needed, it marks the gap instead.
  • It does not replace your judgment. A source match is a starting point. Open it and confirm the exact passage before relying on it.
  • It does not write your argument for you. It improves the draft you bring; it is a sparring partner, not a ghostwriter.
Always open any linked source and confirm it before citing it in a final paper or speech. Fracture surfaces candidates — you confirm them.
