The Rebuttal Builder takes your existing draft and audit report and turns them into preparation material for being on the other side of the argument. Instead of guessing what an opponent might say, you get a structured rebuttal plan built from the attack tree the Fracture Engine already identified — the same weaknesses, assumptions, and gaps it found when auditing your case.

What It Does

  • Turns your own case into opponent preparation — it flips your draft and treats your strongest claims as the targets a skilled opponent would go after.
  • Builds structured responses to the attack tree — the plan is organized around the major attack vectors the engine already identified during your audit, so nothing is invented from scratch.
  • Generates the strongest objections a skilled opponent would raise — including attacks on your evidence, your warrants, and the hidden assumptions in your argument.
  • Prepares you to answer crossfire questions — each attack vector includes the questions an opponent might put to you in real time.

How to Use It

1

Complete an Audit in Argument Mode

Run your draft through the Studio using Argument / Debate mode. The Rebuttal Builder draws on the attack tree and pressure points from that report.
2

Open the Rebuttal Builder From the Studio Toolbar

Once the audit finishes, select the Rebuttal Builder from the Studio toolbar. It opens in a new view using the same project you just analyzed.
3

Read the Rebuttal Plan

The plan is organized by major attack vectors. Work through each one and note which lines of attack you are least prepared to answer.
4

Drill Down With Fracture Chat

Open Fracture Chat and ask about any specific line of attack you want to work through in more detail. Fracture Chat already has your draft and report in context.

When to Use the Rebuttal Builder

  • Before a debate round, to rehearse your responses to the most dangerous attacks on your case
  • Before a Model UN committee session, to anticipate bloc opposition and delegate challenges
  • Before a presentation Q&A, to prepare confident answers for the hardest questions your audience might raise
  • When practicing against a partner, to give them a ready-made attack map so your prep sessions are as realistic as possible
Run your opponent’s case through Fracture first, then open the Rebuttal Builder on that report. You get a structured attack plan built from their actual arguments — not just guesses about what they might run.
